Q:   This is just a question but, what if you were in the position of government, would you let a 'too big to fail - bank' ....fail .... and then bail it out again in public...
... or... would you let the 'too big to fail - bank'... report income differently for the 'good of the nation', starting say around 5 quarters ago?... (and I know that I keep coming back to this clip but, it answers so many questions..  Like Q:  How can these banks hang on to this much declining residential and commercial real estate, show huge profits.... and just let the real estate sit?)

Short sale homes in my SoCal neighborhood just tanked another 11K in 'asking' sale price this week, and there are more of them on the market now....

Aptera production slated for 2013?

In an article written for All Cars Electric -
After The Auto X-Prize, What Next For Aptera's Electric Car? and posted on www.allcarselectric.com by Nikki Gordon-Bloomfield dated yesterday, August 2nd, 2010, she states that....

"Fighting furiously throughout the competition Aptera, whose three-wheeled Aptera 2e is due to go on sale by 2013, has proven that it is capable satisfying the tough criteria of the Auto X-Prize."   full article link:

..So, I have paid a deposit for a basic Aptera 2e and the basic LEAF. The 'LAST' Aptera information that I have received, and I say that with a smile, is that delivery of the 'basic' Aptera 2e would be sometime in 2011 at a basic price of $25K.

Reading "due to go on sale by 2013"  took me by surprise to say the least.

Why is every solution that is proposed to fix the oil spill about 'capturing the oil' (to sell)?  What about a solution to just STOP the flow of oil from that well? When they finally form a solution to just STOP the flow from the well and not capture the oil, the flow will be stopped.

Q.  Is the economy getting better or are we simply living on the increasing credit card debt?

Economy and attitude:
The U.S. flew by the $13 Trillion U.S. deficit mark.
The U.S. added a negative $50 billion more this last week.

Transportation and attitude:
The Ford Fiesta Econetic diesel is still NOT available in the U.S. for oil fuel transportation.

Housing and lender attitudes:
Here in my neighborhood, it is getting worse, not better...  families are losing their homes and the banks are taking the homes, asking too much money and NOT selling them...   why not?  oops...

RE: Banks.   ..so with these bank attitudes, political payoffs and NO penalties,  these reverse incentives, YOU and I get this.... 

June 16, 2010    ..two houses away from my home, a court approved short sale was available yesterday, across the street the neighbor is underwater and preparing to bail, a street over has a home that foreclosed, went to public auction and did not sell, was returned to (the bank) and is still empty. Also, on the corner lot, a new bankruptcy sits empty with sign in place... another street over, some more old folks can't hang on and are 'walking away' from their home next month. So my wife and I took 'a walk' and we found home after home with no signs and no people, just sitting empty with dry landscaping and with some internet checking....   (bank owned and no sign, not advertised)... why can these homes just sit like this?  Oh, here is why...

Any suggestions to improve this web?
